Creepy Omen

Hi, I’m Alex. Yesterday while I was out with my S/O, we were walking to a park up the street. We apparently startled a deer, who ran across the road, directly into a car, and broke a leg. We walked up to it to see if we could help, but she was already dying. I can’t watch things die so I started to walk away and her head followed me. She had human eyes. Real human fear of death. It scared me so I walked faster but my S/O thinks its a sort of omen… Any remarks?
