what can you tell me about a man I recently met

I recently met a man and he says he is interested in me, however he does not call me on the phone nor does he want to video call, we each live in another country, he said he wanted to meet me this year, then after he said it has to be before september 1rst, I have questionmarks, is he honestly seriously interested? Does he expect me to invest in most costs, or does he he see me as an adventure? Why does he have to see me before september 1rst, he says he needs time for his studies after but does he need to study 24\7 or does he have a girlfriend\good friend at the study faccilities? I dont know what to make of this
