Ups and down in our relationship

Hi, I have been in a relationship for almost 2½ years. It is a bit of a long distance relationship with 68 km between us. We are together every other weekend and one day in the middle of the weak. The things is that he can make me so miserable and angry sometimes by being so passive and his bond with his mother can be too much. I often wonder if there is going to be a balance between us. The feelings are there so I do hope so. Please answer me.
