Once again I am searching for insight into my love life. Recently I have had my ex-boyfriend (of almost a whole year) contact me and try to convince me into getting back together. His birthday is 2/24/71 and mine is 2/7/82. I truly feel that we aren't right together but when will I find the right guy? Any tips in opening myself up or becoming more ready for a new relationship? Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Laura

You already know that your ex-boyfriend isn't right for you. It would not be a good idea to see him again. The problems that existed in the relationship before are likely to surface again. It would take a lot of work on the part of both of you, and I sense that you would be cautious of the outcome.

As for meeting someone new-- if you are involved in activities that you truly enjoy such as a club, an organization, or even volunteer work there is a good possibility that you might meet someone who shares your interests. Sharing the same beliefs and interests is a strong foundation for a lasting relationship.
