Someone to love?

Hello All,
I have started seeing a man that I have known for 7 years, he has been out of state for the last 2 so it's been even longer than that since we have talked or seen each other. We saw each other a little over 2 weeks ago and had a strong connection right away. We are both 28, he is a Gemini and I am an Aquarius. So far him and I are wanting the same thing and very into each other. He's out of state of 2 weeks and I miss him a lot, before he left he told me he'd miss me too. Does anyone have any insight as to whether this the lasting relationship I have been waiting for?

The guy I was seeing got back into cell phone range after being out of town for two weeks and didn't call or text, or reply to my texts after a almost two days of being able to call or text. The 3rd day I called him and he was being really quiet on the phone, I told him I didn't want to end things weird so I wanted to talk because I was making the assumption that he didn't want to see me anymore. He didn't respond and was silent for awhile. He said it wasn't a good time to talk and he'd call me later. When he was gone he was at the burning man festival, volunteering for the first week. On the 3rd day of the festival he emailed me and told me he missed me lots, wished I was there and next year they'd get me out there. I'm thinking he found someone else but would appreciate any insight.

I am sincerely sorry that this happened to you. It seems this guy is not reliable. You don't need someone who fades in and out of your life. I sense that your intuition is correct. He might have met someone else or rekindled a past relationship.

In any event, don't waste any more time on him. The fact that he said he would call you later and didn't is an indication that he can't be counted on.

You need someone who will give you the attention that you deserve. In the future, someone who is out-of-town a lot of the time might not be a good prospect.

When these types of relationships are rekindled, often the problems that were present the first time around have a way of resurfacing.

Only you can decide if you want to give him another chance, but do you want to go through a repeat performance? He has already shown you that he is not dependable.

You don't need someone who thinks that he can waltz in and out of your life. I have a feeling that you will meet someone else in the very near future. When this happens you will see a potential for a lasting relationship--
