Advice with my ex

i have asked about my ex on this site before and you said it was a good thing. well since then we broke and he broke my heart. he took me for granted when i wanted him back eventhough i still answered all his calls. he got locked up a while back and i've had sometime to think. i decided that i would ignore him and not answer his calls or texts anymore and if i do i will only do it briefly. i still really love him,but i dont want my feelings to be hurt again.plus i know he probably will want to be with somene else..so00 Sound like a good idea?

You will always know that you tried to make this relationship work. However, you are wise to realize that it is time to let this go. When couples reconnect, often the problems that were present in the relationship in the past will resurface. So be strong and continue to work to break this connection.
