| More About Dale's Life And Experience | ||||
So you want to know more about me? I guess that's how you arrived here. Well, I could give you a hyped up, watered down version of what my life has been about, but I've never really been very good at that. I actually got into personal development at a young age. I was reading books on hypnosis and meditation when I was nine. At times in my life I would try other approaches to dealing with pain whether it was through substance abuse, unhealthy relationships, being popular, or other superficial escapes. Because none of these seemed to work for very long, I kept getting pulled back to facing and working on myself, from the inside out. I've made an enormous number of mistakes, big ones too - in relationships, in business, in family, with my health, with friendships, and with money. At the same time, I've learned a great deal from each one of those mistakes. I believe this puts me in a powerful situation to help people like you because, I've been there, I know what it's like, and I know what it takes to succeed, even when it seems like you're at the end of the rope. |

| My Training | ||||
| In college, as a psychology major, I made straight A's and was on the Dean's list. But the more that I got into it, the more I realized that it wasn't for me. The university environment didn't seem to have what I was looking for in an education. I don't have anything against getting a college education - it seems like the best thing for many people. I just found for me, because of my particular passions and talents, another route would be a more direct approach. I didn't get the abilities that I have, like heightened intuition, because I come from an elite, exotic bloodline. I got to where I am because I've worked hard. I took the initiative and got specialized training. I studied with a holistic research institute for over 10 years -The Institute for Advanced Perception. I went through an intense developmental process clearing out the effects of emotional trauma, and getting the limiting conditioning and other layers of garbage off of me. It was a lot of hard work - looking at yourself isn't always easy. At the same time, I don't regret any bit of it and I've realized that growth is a process that never stops. Many people in my life, especially since I have been more visible with my metaphysical perspectives, have tried to hold be back, get me to conform, sell out, submit, and obey. If I would have taken most of the advice I've gotten, I'd probably be sitting in some sterile job right now, regretting my life. I was fortunate to be blessed with a handful of great teachers that inspired me to be who I am today. I attribute much of my current motivation to the help and guidance of others. It seems when someone shows you what love really is, it has a contagious effect - you have to spread it around. |

| My Experience | ||||
As I learned effective personal development tools to use in my own life, as my self- awareness increased, I developed more of a desire to assist others. I started working professionally as a counselor 13 years ago. In crisis centers, runaway shelters, and drug treatment facilities, I helped people to deal with sexual abuse, addiction, low self-esteem, and taking life to the next level. I've worked directly with many people whose lives had a darkness that most people can't even imagine. Because my radical style kept “causing problems” in conventional institutions, for several years I have been involved with people in more holistic, unlimited settings. My goal is to get results, even if that involves doing things that are not accepted in mainstream societal consciousness, even if it means doing things that are controversial and sometimes frowned upon (such as relying on intuition or metaphysical healing techniques). My main theme has consistently been making a difference. I've got something in me that can't just look away. My life has mostly been about what about what I can give, rather than what I can get. It's not because I get pleasure or anything else back from this path, it's because I feel from deep inside - it's just the right thing to do. It hasn't always been easy in a culture where athletes, judges, rap stars, and actors often get paid so much more than teachers, counselors, or human right advocates. I've learned some life lessons the hard way - like when I was going hungry while living out of car for a few weeks. This happened after I quit my job at a greedy, unethical corporation so I could go do humanitarian work. |

| My Message To You | ||||
| I founded the Institute with the intention to help as many people possible, in the most effective way possible, and in the shortest amount of time possible. I go out of my way to make sure that our team provides the most effective approaches to personal development. Practically everything we claim is backed up by the most credible sources of information - sources like Princeton, Duke, and the United States government. This information won't jump out at you from the mainstream, but if you know where to look, you can find it. My personal style isn't so much original as it is about standing on the backs of giants - the greatest achievers throughout time. Even more so, I think one of the best ways to help others is getting yourself out of the way. This seems to apply especially with intuition - selflessness is the key to ultimate power and awareness. If you find that none of the services that we provide meet your needs or are inside your budget, I challenge you to still take the initiative and contact us. We might be able to help you by referring you to somewhere that can assist you, arranging a work exchange agreement, or some other creative option. If your life isn't the way you want it, don't let it stay that way. There is a solution waiting somewhere for you. Whether you're in a crisis, or you are just ready to take your life to the next level, do something about it. Dale Sellers, President LifeLeap Institute Contact Dale |
